We really enjoyed mackerel fishing on a nice calm day and the whole family caught something and there were even some left to throw back. Recommend you take a bag to take home your catch. We even barbecued ours after getting them which was a real eye-opener for the kids.

I was looking for a non sharing boat and was told twice, once when I enquired and a second time when I booked, that we would not be sharing. When we got to the boat there was another party of 8 on our boat - by that stage it was to late to cancel. When I phoned up to complain the lady claimed she had never said it was non-sharing. I emailed the skipper expecting at least an apology, if not a partial refund, and got no response... hence this review. There are other operators who charge 15-17.50 and are open about the boat being shared, I was only willing to pay 20.00 p/p for non non sharing. I can only say what I experienced which to me felt like a Con.
Great fun and suitable for complete beginners such as myself. Had a top day out with my father. Friendly and communicative instructions from the people running the operation. Would definitely go again, thanks.
Absolutely terrible, 3 upset children. We were strung along and told to come down to the harbour walked all the way down toddler in tow ,only to be told that we could only have 2 spaces even though we had been told previous that all 5 of us could go . I'm absolutely fuming , ruined the end of our holiday and I will never ever book with these people again . Terrible service strung along for 2 days . Shame on them all in the name of money .
Great time on boat. However fishing bit hit and miss. Will go again. !!
