This freedom struggle monument is in very bad conditions, no proper maintenance by concerned authorities & responsible citizens.. Seems to be lot of non & bad activities going on in buildings.. This is the respect giving by concerned authorities and the citizens.. It seems to these buildings are used very few days in a year.. For proper maintenance at least these buildings should given to some good activities so these will be in active & keep health state & give value to it..

An historic place in Indian independence, this is the first place where the Indian tri colour flag was hosted in India when the British rule existed. Acting on Nehru's instruction A G Bandi Gowda raised the first flag of India just before midnight. This was followed then by Calcutta and other parts of India.
