The facility was being ran well, the animals all seemed happy, but the staff threw me off a lot. i took my baby in to get neutered, and the woman who i assume was the nurse or assistant, actually kicked a cat that they made stay outside. which, i already don’t understand why the poor baby had to stay outside, but maybe they’re a boy, or they don’t do well with other animals? either way it hurt my heart. and all the staff seemed, for lack of a better terminology, like they were ready to jump off a cliff. no energy at all, and when i asked questions i was looked at like i was literally crazy, in the way you’d look at someone when you think “why are they talking to me” my husband took more poorly to this and said he refuses to give money to them ever again, but i will most likely still be back for adoptions, just maybe not the other services. i know how important this shelter is and won’t let the actions of one visit make me never support them again. i don’t think that would be ethical of me Edit: my friend took her cat to get neutered as well and when she got him back she found he had been LITERALLY LAYING in his pee and spray ALL DAY. he was soaked, shaking, and wouldn’t meow for hours, despite usually being a very talkative cat. this is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE and WRONG for a place with staff who seem to “care about animals” so much. i won’t support the organization for any longer and i feel sorry for the animals in their “care”

The staff is caring and knowledgeable. Best place for adoption or spay/neuter surgery, or to make a donation where your money is well cared for! They are very good stewards of donations and of course animals. Check Amazon for their wish list, every little bit helps. Help them help more animals in need. Oh yeah, and btw GO DAWGS and rescue dogs ROCK! -thedogtrainingdiva

Top notch group of people. I fostered kittens this spring and summer for the first time. As many cats that I've had over the years, I'd never care for newborns without mothers. The staff there were great to offer assistance and support. I ended up adopting two siblings (even though I swore I wouldn't) and have one foster babe waiting for his forever home. Please consider giving them support by adoption of a dog and/or cat, with supplies, or with money.

I had set up a meet a greet to meet a Puppy, who I was told would not be ready to go home. This was 1/13. Called 1/14 to confirm puppy was still there as they all disappeared from petfinder. Apparently all the puppies were adopted out in less than 24 hours. They are only open 12-5, so between those hours they adopted out all the puppies, knowing at least one person had interest in one. I was not given the option to put a hold nor pay the adoption fee to secure the puppy. Very shady business practice. Someone could at least have called to tel me. Hopefully those puppies went to proper homes but one must question the vetting this shelter does if they let all the puppies go that quick. Won’t be looking here again & recommend you don’t either.

Heard about MOAS but had never been there till yesterday. Very clean facility and friendly staff. They donated cat food to help feed the feral colonies I assist with tnr and food. They made some cats very happy yesterday.
