I had high expectations for this place and t let me down in many ways. 1. The service was far from impressive, the waitress disappeared halfway thru the shift. Barely said hello... 2. I ordered the lunch menu. For 11.30 , salad pizza and coffee. Decent price. 3. The Caesar salad was all room temperature and there were three little pieces of chicken. The dressing was warm! No parm cheese either 4. The pizza was nothing special. I’ve spent significant time in Campania and Puglia. The mozzarella tasted like it was from a supermarket. I asked the man who served me and he didnt know where it was from. Instead of answering me he ignored me. I wouldn’t repeat nor recommend it.
At best, this was a really cheap and cozy place to eat. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't as good as I was expecting from the pictures. The crust didn't get as dark as I'd like and there was way too much cheese. The crust had good flavor though... If they cut back on the cheese and didn't use a metal plate when they threw the pizza in the oven, they'd have a good pie for the price. My wife's tortellini was really good despite all this. The beer is also a great price too. The staff seems great too. I'd come back and order something other than the pizza if given the chance.
Great pizza, ok prices (12 eur for a mid size pizza, pasta around 9 eur). The owner is shouting as a real Italian all the time, the waiters give average service (and don't speak English), apart from this I totally recommend it!
One of my favourite places in Madrid. Tiny area but great pizza.
