Incredible place. Top tier bacalao (fried cod) and bacalao croquetas. Served before you can blink. Its a classic, a favourite of mine and I'm sure I shall visit it as long as I'm in Madrid. Highly recommended. Arguably the best cod in Madrid.

The food was good, but can’t accept such a bad service we had. Impolite and mean staff, letting us to wait while serving all the others table with a smile in the corner and looking at us. Touristic place that I don’t recommend.
An institution for cañas and cod fish bites. The tables inside look like the original ones, made out of the steel and marble tops. Those and other details like a wheel public phone (those ones that gen z doesn't know how to use) and the wooden covered walls made for the great atmosphere.
Popular spot when looking for tapas places in Sol. It’s a “traditional” place / a place which has been around for long. Good taste, affordable price and great location.
Great Bar in Sol, you order beer at bar and tapas at a small counter. I speak no Spanish, but a little goes a long way! I tried to order the cod in Spanish, and his English was a lot better than my Spanish, great experience
