Had a great variety of dishes at El Paraguas and I was very pleased with the outcome. This restaurant did not disappoint. Fish was fresh, meat was cooked perfectly, and the variety was wonderful yet not overwhelming. The service was good, and very attentive.

Fresh and delicious food. You can sit outside and enjoy the afternoon when Madrid has a good weather. It’s a traditional and well presented restaurant. You are more likely to see locals with their families or in business meetings. Good wine selection and dish options for any dietary requirement. Will definitely come back!

Extensive wine menu and high quality Spanish food. Went there for a company dinner with international colleagues and everyone loved it

Nice restaurant depending on what you are looking for. My husband and I came here to enjoy a nice dinner our last night in Madrid. We made an early reservation for a Wednesday and the place was empty when we arrived but quickly filled up. There are multiple dining rooms and an outside terrace. We were sat with mainly business dinner groups and would have preferred to be in the room with mainly couples. One of the waitresses rushed us at the beginning trying to take our order but after that most of the staff were nice and attentive. They didn’t take the time to go over specials or make any recommendations which we thought was odd for such a nice restaurant. All of the dishes we got were delicious, great quality and a nice presentation. The main annoyance was that there were fruit flies that kept getting in our wine. A manager acknowledged and apologized and gave us a free dessert. The food won’t disappoint but it is definitely a white table cloth stuffy kind of vibe and it is expensive. Even the starters and salads were mostly 20 Euros and up.
