Had a great variety of dishes at El Velazquez and I was very pleased with the outcome. This restaurant did not disappoint. Fish was fresh, meat was cooked perfectly, and the variety was wonderful yet not overwhelming. The service was good, and very attentive.

Food is good but a bit expensive for the quantity you get. They serve brunch with a large choice of egg-based dishes and several vegetarian options. The place is rather cold-hearted, not very cosy.

Just came to have some wine- stayed for diner which turned out to be surprisingly fabulous. They brought us English menus and I had perfect grilled salmon on green risotto, my husband had 1/2 a roasted chicken which he raves about too. Service was very friendly considering we don’t speak Spanish.

This place was wonderful. The food was some of the best we had I on our trip to Madrid. The tuna tartar and the shrimp spring rolls were delicious. Service was great too. We will definitely return here when we come back to Madrid.

The food was just ok. The hummus was pretty good. The pizza greasy. The chicken in the caesar was so overcooked it was hard on the teeth. I ordered a premium vodka (very stingy pour) and ginger, 16 euros. No skill, just over rocks. It would be ordinary if you remove the booze.
