Small single room, was very clean and cozy. Just across the street from Atocha Station made it a very convenient way to travel to Toledo for a day trip. The great museums are all nearby. Reception was always friendly.

Good vibes. The room was really clean and with good views. It's not allowed to smoke inside.
This is a good place to stay if you do not plan to spend much time at the hostel and you can carry your own bags. The rooms are small. We stayed 2 nights. Good points: - Great water pressure and showers (ranks among the best I have seen anywhere). - Great air conditioning. - Great location for (southern routes) train station and Metro. It was a 2 minute walk from the train station when we arrived at 2300. - Great location for the airport bus. It takes about 8 minutes to walk to the airport bus through the train station. At 0636, it took 24 minutes for the bus to reach our terminal at Barajas A/P (5 euros). - Clean rooms. - Comfortable beds (albeit that we were so tired by the time we went to bed we could have slept anywhere). - Timely response to enter and leave the building at odd hours. - Elevator (and stairs). - Very affordable places to eat nearby. - In central Madrid. Other: - No safe for valuables. - 1st floor (traffic noise during the day). - Small rooms (travel light). I would stay there again. DS

Como las consignas de Atocha estaban cerradas por tema Covid-19, la persona que nos atendió de la oficina de turismo de Madrid de la estación, nos dijo que deberíamos ir a uno de dos hostales que estaban ofreciendo este servicio. Llegamos al 'Hostal Argentina' que es efectivamente un piso con varios cuartos convertido en hostal y el señor que estaba trabajando nos dice que cada maleta costará 5 euros, aunque era solo para 2h. Mejor que no vayáis. Un timo brutal!
