The kitchen is very big, WiFi in first floor is well, and location is good but the door of shower room is not so privacy.

One star because I can’t give lower. Really disappointing experience. As soon as we arrived, we were “informed” -in a disrespectful way by the main manager. The rest of the staff was friendly- that there was no tap water due to a broken pipe. We would lose the deposit and were not given any alternatives/solutions. They fixed it but the story goes on: - 4/person for a breakfast without even pieces of fruit or pastries. - No electricity in the room for a while. In order to fix it, two plugs ran out of order, leaving only one available in the bathroom for a tiny double room (suitcases open on the hall floor as we had no space left). - Boiling water in the morning (no teeth-brushing possible), freezing water in the evening (great for a pleasant shower). - Noisy room in the early morning (construction works right above the dorm). - Neither individual lights (i.e. Bedside table lamps) nor place to hang jackets or coats. Worst hostel in our entire lives. Not recommended.
Good location and there is a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook your meals. There was a lot of flying insects (fruit flies) in the kitchen however. WiFi coverage does not extend to the dorms toward the end of the hall. Further and unfortunately the room I was in was infested with bed bugs. Bed bugs was found on the mattress, walls and curtains. I killed about 20 of all various sizes in their various life cycle stages – some with fresh blood (mine) and others had old digested blood – suggesting that the room had been infested for quite some time. At least three beds in the room were infested as each person sleeping on them had bites and found and killed some themselves. Bed bugs were seen to be crawling back into their hiding spots in the bedframes when light was shone on them. Avoid for now.

Decent room with enough space, only downside was an undisclosed 'white substance' on my bedsheets which I thus didn't use. The toilets were always stacked with toilet paper to fulfill my needs, which I haven't had the pleasure to have at every place I visited in Madrid. The nights at the hostel were quite hard to sleep cause our neighbours were a bunch of loud monkeys. Also the klikos in the streets were perfectly placed for late night fun.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, amazing location. This is the place to stay at in Madrid, if you are going to be exploring the city & want to meet interesting people.
first of all the room don’t actually lock I went around a opened up basically every room without a key. The keys are pointless. The staff are amazing tho. However the showers are very open. They don’t have a door for them only the shower door to keep the water in but they have clear windows except for the part that are supposed to cover you. But you can still see through them. So if your not the perfect height then you’ll be exposed. Personally being short my nips felt exposed All the time. Like you could see people brushing their teeth and stuff like right outside the shower door. Not cool.
Booked and paid via Agoda but mistakenly selected "big bed" and "non smoking room". Of course i knew it's not applicable as it's a dorm. Got an email from the hotel saying that they do not have such room. I replied immediately that i accidentally pressed that so it's ok. Upon arrival, I was told that my booking was cancelled because they don't have that kind of room. BUT, they didn't tell me in the email that it's cancelled! The guy didn't even take any initiative to find you any available bed in the hostel, not helpful at all. I ended up leaving and finding another place to stay at late afternoon. Such a bad and tiring experience.
