Great place to visit with kids. We purchased tickets for the movie before going there. It was a good movie for children and adults. Price reasonable. They should add more exhibits though. It is 25 min walking from downtown.

It’s one of my favorite spot around Europe ! Super culture and very nice place
Very good planetarium for kids under school age but not for older one's. There is also very nice park near.
We had a great visit with my 4 year old daughter here for 1-2h max. Not large exhibits, one of deep space astrophotography and one for climate change and conservation aswrll as a small exhibition on ESA Mars mission probes! We loved it! Exhibitions are rather small but this coupled with the movie is enough for my 4 year old. Get ready for some hands on action cause there are only tags in english and spanish on the exhibits (We are Greek). We loved it all the same DSO astrophotography the most, she mentioned the colours looked amazing... Small hike from the nearby metro, which metro stop is also decorated beautifully as a small miniature solar system (not to size) Tickets are dirt cheap! If in Madrid definetely worth a visit!!!
It's an okay place if you like planets and cosmology but to be honest, they need to revamp the entire place. Everything is old and belongs to the 90s. The planetarium itself is ok but the quality is low. I have been to the planetarium in Washington DC and this place cannot even begin to compete with that one. Also, it's a bit far from the metro stops. As a space fan, I'm happy I went there but don't think I'll go back again.
