This flat was in a perfect location for both the school & exploring Madrid; it was secure, in a good building and very comfortable: Given the cost, it was well equipped and fit for purpose although the bedrooms were a bit on the small side. As in any shared accomodation, cleanliness, comfort and peace are dependant on the other occupants and ours were, on the whole, very good. Happy to recommend :)

My stay in Madrid was excellent, and Rosa was a very gracious host, considering my poor Spanish. I discovered I have forgotten much in the last 10 years, since I studied Spanish and was quite proficient at that time. I hope to convince my wife to visit Spain with me again, and perhaps take a refresher course in the language. Lada
I stayed in the flat on Calle Zabaleta. The flat is very spacious, located on the second floor and has a balcony, which is a big plus. I had friendly flatmates, but when I got there, the flat was not very clean. I stayed in a double bedroom with my friend and we shared a small bathroom. The biggest problem I had with the place was the cleanliness. However, the flat is well-located near to a metro station that takes you straight to the AIL Madrid school. If you've never lived in a Spanish flat before, then I should warn you that there are no individual locks on the bedroom doors. There's only one lock for the front door.
I was in Madrid for 10 weeks in the Delicias flat and it was fantastic! Fran was wonderful and made sure everything went smoothly. Very nice doorman and a large bathroom. The location right next to Atocha and a metro stop couldn't have been better. I highly recommend!
I've lived with Irene for 20 days in Calle de Espartinas and I really enjoyed my stay there. Irene is a very kind and helpful person and helped me a lot despite my poor spanish. The house is quite small but it has been worth take up residence there!
