Sure, the bureaucracy is Spain can be frustrating; however, if you carefully follow directions and make sure all your documents are in order, you'll be fine. I would also suggest that if you do not speak much Spanish, at least have a few phrases ready if needed (things like \we have appointments for TIEs\, \we're applying together\, and \we're early for our appointments\ can really come in handy). The representative who assisted us was very friendly and helpful. We had been cautioned to arrive early, so we showed up two hours in advance of our appointment times. There was a fair line of people already waiting for the office to reopen at 15:00, and we were at first turned away since our appointments were not until 17:00. But after about 15 minutes they just let everyone in. The entire process (two lines: one for the fingerprinting/document review and another for document collection and receipt of the temporary TIE) was completed in less than an hour, and we were on our way home well before our original appointment times. I don't know if it is always this quick, but we had a very good experience overall.

If you follow directions ahead of time to know what documents you need to bring, get an appointment online, and show up the day of your appointment you will have no problems. I don't know why people expect a Spanish institution to speak English. You are registering to live, study, or work in a Spanish speaking country. Only 4 stars because it is sometimes difficult to get an appointment, but you have 30 days once in Spain to request an appointment, then you print the receipt of your appointment to prove that you followed directions even if your appointment is for 45 or 60 days later. Appointments only online to avoid people showing up at any time just to ask for information. Vista Alegre is the office for information. Yes, there are office hours posted. No, they do not open on Saturdays.

Nos sirvieron con una actitud mala. The staffs here were quite impolite and rude. The service was also really bad. It would be much better if they could improve their service and the quality of work.

Wont let you in without appointment. I did have an appointment fortunately. The queue starts even before 8.30am.
