OMG I didn't know they still exist. My sister and I took classes there over a decade ago. My guitar teacher taught me Metallica's Call of Cthulhu and it was the ONLY song my husband and I could agree on tonight. So I had this fond memory. Anyway I hope this place is still rocking because they were awesome and hold a very special place in my heart.

This is by far the best mom and pop .music shop left in Brooklyn cool little place Guitars are priced to sell They give lessons and definitely a great repair shop The turn around on repairs is so quick sometimes they tell me to grab some food and come back in an hour Highly recommend going there... If you have a Floyd rose equipped guitar don't waste your time going anywhere else but here they know how to do the set UPS the right way
My son has been taking piano lessons here since he was seven years old. He's now 14 and he still looks forward to coming here every week. His piano skills have improved immensely. He now plays challenging classical pieces and has written his own amazing music. Ms. Lina has been his piano teacher from the very beginning. She has done absolute wonders for him and the many other students that she has worked with. She treats her piano students with a lot of caring and patience. This place is not just a music school, but a place that also buys, sells, and repairs instruments. They have a large selection of guitars, keyboards, sheet music, and other supplies. There's always a positive vibe when I enter this store as if the employees are truly happy to see me. The Maggio family has provided great service to its many customers through the years. Playing the piano is a big part of my son's life. Maggio Music Center has helped to make that happen.
Very helpful and polite staff. I pay for bass lessons and so far my experience has been really good. I would recommend this place to anyone who is trying to learn an instrument.
Mr. Maggio is a prince! What an awesome personality that really makes you comfortable when you go to his store. His crew teach guitar and other instruments. They have the patience it takes to be in that business. Music is another great way to get off the video games and garbage on TV. If you're looking for a place that you can pick up music equipment or learn how to play it, then here's your best bet. Small and family owned for many years. They give you the one on one service people love.
