Vipshyaraamaya, normally we called it Puwakpitiya Temple, ancient temple situated at the heart of Maharagama town. Maha nayaka thero was generous enough to donate this temples land to build a buddhist school , Vidyakara maha vidyalaya , now its a famous girls school 'Vidyakara Balika'. There is a Perahera organized by this temple. Mr.Chalitha Maddumage is the Diyawadana nilame of the perahera .
