Such a great service here today from the Imaging department. Smooth entry and assistance on entry to the hospital, nicely greeted and helped to find where I needed to go. Been here several times and really can’t rate it highly enough. Nada in imaging is just so nice. Fab staff

A very good experience across a number of visits. A relative of mine had their Hip replaced here, it was a completely different encounter to their NHS hip replacement. The surgery itself was far better, much less after care needed, anaesthetist was way better and they were home sooner. I've also been in on a couple of visits and it works like a well-oiled machine, hardly any waiting around. Such a shame NHS hospitals cant function as well as these places. It serves illustrate just how much reform the entire NHS needs if we want to repair it, money is not the magic bullet, the problems lie far deeper and are definitely not a simple.

I've had a surgery at KIMS on 01/02/2021. My experience until the surgery & the first part of recovery was great. Brilliant surgeon & anaesthetist as well as the theatre team. Once I was brought back to the room I was given coffee two biscuits and I had them with no concern. After sometime I received a sandwich which I had picked from the choices I was given before surgery. I felt sick after a few bites so I refused to eat. After a couple of hours I felt really hungry and I wasn’t feeling sick anymore so I’ve asked if can have something to eat and I was given the same options of the sandwiches! I wasn’t keen so I asked if I can get something from the kitchen and I was told that the kitchen is closed, I can't have anything from there, I should've ordered it earlier but I wasn't informed about that option by any of the staff members! I asked a senior nurse \shouldn’t I be eating before discharge\ and she said \Oh! You had a few bites of a sandwich !!! \ It felt like I’m no longer important as I just had my surgery. It's almost 24 hours since I've a had proper meal and the staff were not really bothered. I’m unsure as to whether it was because I was an NHS patient and my choices were very limited! Imagine if I had to stay overnight, I would’ve been waiting for breakfast !!! Not sure if the same sandwich option will turn up in the breakfast menu !! NB: They sent me home with some opioids and very strong pain reliefs when all I needed is just really some hospitality and over the counter pain relief for mild discomfort. I must say that as a private health care they will be charging double the cost of the NHS treatment but the aftercare is below average from my personal experience.Very bad experience at the hospital. Only if I had an option to choose 0 stars.

I'm leaving kims hospital today after having surgery minus the pain I can honestly say that its been a lovely 3 days. Operation went to plan after surgery staff were professional friendly and fantastic with my care and wellbeing. Plus the Food was excellent so I haven't got a bad word to say about my experience here. Thanks kims hospital

I have to commend the staff of this hospital. I had to have to steroid injections in my spine due to a long-standing issue that has seen me off work for four months. Right from the minute I walked in, to the moment they wheeled me out in a wheelchair (I could walk, but wasn't allowed to), they showed the utmost levels of professionalism (from the anaesthetist moving my operation back because I had sucked a mint in the time I wasn't supposed to have even a lick of water), to the nurses that took me out of my operation, and tended to me afterwards, making sure I was able to leave as quickly as possible, It's all sorted. I love this kind of professionalism. The facilities are excellent, and the staff know exactly what they are doing!
