Thought the food to be quite average in portion and taste. Food a bit too oily to my liking. Pricing on the higher side. Good location. Was there on a Friday afternoon at 2pm and there wasn't any crowd. But saw snaking queues on weekends - recommend all to make a reservation if you're coming on weekends.

We went 1 day before CMCO, ordered the Nyonya tiffin set A. Have 3 dishes - Ayam pongteh, chap chai, telur dadar cincalok, but not inclusive drinks. Be aware that iced lemon tea costs around RM7, orange juice around RM14. Chap chai and egg was average, I preferred the chicken pongteh and sambal belacan for their rich taste. A nice place to try with window overlooking Melaka Raya overhead bridge, recommended to bring friends or family to a leisurely evening meal.

This place was heavenly! Rule of thumb is if the place is empty, dont go. This place was completely empty and we decided to go with it... It was pretty good! Fish Head Curry w/ the red snapper was delish, their “half fish” is the same as an extra large in Singapore. Enough for 3 people. We got the okra with sambal which was quite spicy. Very tasty. The Ayam Pongpeh wasnt very good. But the folks I was with didnt mind. So i guess that was just me. The sambal tofu was also decent. Service staff was attentive and pleasant even though they were quite junior.

Being baba nyonya, the food here brings back memories. The taste is unique and harkens to a dying art of cooking. Please try the food and you won't be disappointed.

This place is very crowded and you need to make a booking... do not bother with walk-in. The food is rather authentic but the portion size can be quite small.

Natural lighted restaurant that has nonya settings. Rice served with crackers and achar. Not so spicy dishes to suit the foreign tourists staying at hotel. Price around Rm40 per pax.
