Nice place to checkout at Honker away from the usual food and trinket stalls. Nice display of old machine used for printing. Brightly light with greatly preserved building architecture. Entrance is free

Went to Royal Press yesterday and took a tour around the shop. It was a very pleasant experience. Getting to know briefly the techniques of letter pressing. My wife and I were accompanied by a staff named Amin. He is super nice guy... answered all of our curiousities. Cant wait to join your class next year...

We had the great opportunity to go by The Royal Press when we made our visit back from Melbourne, Australia. Greeted by cheerful people at the door, the team (especially our tour guide, Hannah) was very informative and took us on a tour to explain all the different types of machines available to print letterpress. I am amazed by how well the print items have been kept (The Royal Press was opened back in the 1930s) and it has made us appreciate the little things now, knowing that in the earlier days, it takes a long time, effort and hard work to get the news printed. If you are ever looking for a place to visit in Melaka, I would definitely recommend you to go to The Royal Press. You will be amazed!

Came across this amazing printing services museum in Jonker Walk. Friendly tour guide with great explanation, provided us a great insight into how printing was done in the 1960s in Malacca. Entry fee of Rm 15 for Malaysians & rm 25 for non-Malaysian, but i personally had an eye-opening experience of learning about this part of this history, really worth the price!

A heritage that passed down for the 4th generation now. A museum that shows the old techniques of printing machine and little bit of the family behind it. Totally worth it for Typography and Printing Techniques educational skills and knowledge.

Beautiful museum with well preserved machinery filled with history. The tour guide was very engaging and knowledgeable in his trade. Overall the best hidden gem in all of Melaka. Perfect for typography lovers and anyone who appreciates good design. Can't wait to visit again soon!

Found this place absolutely fascinating. An amazing variety of equipment has been preserved and the tour guide was super engaging, giving me a full tour even though I turned up by myself. Would 100% recommend you check this out whether you’re into design or not.

This place was only open a few months ago. Initially I dead to sure whether it would be worth the entry fee as I was thinking what could be interesting about a printing press factory but luckily the weather was so hot outside that I thought maybe I’ll give it a go. The tour guide was really informative and friendly which made the fee TOTALLY worth it. Would definitely recommend it to people who like visiting cultural places and museums.
