Irene is the owner and chef and her food is gorgeous. It's like stepping into your neighbour's home and being treated to fresh made on the spot meals. I love the chicken curry, it is the best in BC, trust me I have eaten a lot of places to explore Malaysian food and this is the beat so far. The food is typical Sarawak Malaysian food, one of the best regional food in Malaysia. Go. I highly recommend this time hidden spot, it is a gem.

Generic Asian food with zero Malaysian flavour or technique. Store-bought pre-fried tofu thrown into a soya-chilli paste sugary sauce. Same sauce with green peppers and tomatoes used for all chicken dishes too. Absolute Rip-off at 91 for a meal for three.
Amazing service and food! Really neat restaurant with authentic Malaysian food! Love their roti and laksa. Price is really cheap and food is tasty. Will definitely come again. They are cash only.
My whole family used to eat in here and now order out from here every few weeks. The food is very delicious. No they are not identical to “back home” but they have their own flare and flavour adjusted to western tastebuds. Ask them to customize or make it spicier for you, they will. 100% recommend. Sambal fish, rendang, noodles, roti chanai are among top dishes. CASH ONLY!
Wonderful and delicious experience here!!!! Searched up best laksa in greater Vancouver and was pleasantly surprised that Surrey had this hidden gem! Had the Sarawak laksa, steamed Hainanese chicken and the Kuih Dadar! And the other meals being served looked just as delicious so I need to come back to try them! Restaurant was very clean and the waiter today was very friendly. I am definitely recommending my friends to come!
