Great staff but an appartment owned by someone who refuses to keep the apartment in excellent condition. 2 pasta pots but no frypan and a refusal to provide one. The staff hijacked one for us from another apartment. Great setting.
Loved this little town, not as busy as the other areas of Cinque Terre. Our apartment was very central and a few minutes from the train... however, as with anywhere in the area, there are no lifts or escalators and it is VERY steep to get anywhere and when you are lugging a suitcase, it is difficult. Be prepared to go up and down stairwells . Back to the apartment. Very clean and tidy. Bedroom on ground level and kitchen and balcony on first floor. Again steep stairs, but at least you don’t have to lug the cases up them. Safe didn’t work but we didn’t worry about reporting it. Cold shower first morning as no one mentioned having to turn on the hot water service. Plenty of kitchen utensils etc if you want to eat in. Also plenty of places to buy the yummy food or eat out. Bed was a little hard but ok, the pillows were good (as opposed to most hotels where they are terrible). We had an iron and hairdryer, ( no ironing board). We came after hours and the very detailed instructions were excellent. While not luxurious, we loved our little abode and was very fitting for the surroundings and village atmosphere. Abbiamo soggiornato nell'appartamento dalle pareti lilla al primo piano. Perfetto e spazioso per due persone. Dotato di aria condizionata e cucina accessoriata, frigorifero, phon e wifi (accessibile da solo un dispositivo per volta). La posizione in Marola è fantastica, a due passi dal centro e vicino (100 mt) alla stazione (come anche a ristoranti, bar, negozi, poste). Il personale è molto simpatico e gentile, come anche la signora delle pulizie che era molto gentile. La pulizia era impeccabile. Merita per la location, turistica, meno affollato rispetto ad altri paesi delle cinque terre (fine luglio). Sono messi a disposizione degli ospiti gratuitamente sia accessori del bagno che asciugamani e salviette. Consigliamo il soggiorno!! Must della visita "Nessun Dorma"
