As far as Amazonian ports go, this place is a dream. Its all new and compared to other ports in town less of a head spin to find your way to your boat. Of course you still end up with ten people waiting for you to get out of your taxi so they can charge you 20 bucks just to carry your single piece of luggage 10meters. Still, ive never had a problem any of them stealing my stuff. (Don't pay em 20 bucks though. 5 reais per item at the most!)
