The experience overall is something you won't find anywhere else. The sun is no joke though so heed the warnings and suggestions of previous goers and Bonnaroo itself. The portapotties were always dirty, as expected, but the food is amazing and the place is very well put together and organized.

My first real music festival and it was THE BEST! I had a great time walking around listening to different bands, trying lots of food (donuts are amazing) and hanging out with cool people. All good vibes over here

Bonnaroo is the place to be if you like music, good vibes, making random friends, or any combination of the above. The lineup is always fantastic and has a great combination of genres that everyone can get down with. The music plays starting in the early afternoon and some areas have music until sunrise if you're up that late (though far enough from the campgrounds). I volunteered as a compost sorter this year and it was pretty awesome. Worked in the mornings so we didn't miss shows, the guy in charge of our group was awesome, we got free meal tokens at the end of each shift, and we all worked next to each other so conversations were great.

Overall this is an amazing experience. The music and facilities are well thought out and top knotty. The artist hospitality area is better than any we’ve experienced. We were very disappointed in the organizational structures in place for entry (16 hrs) and exiting (3hrs) the event. There are far too many unknowing volunteers and too few people with a mic that can at least help direct you where you need to be.

Off the chain as always. I'll be back next year... Great music, great food, great people. Just an over all great atmosphere. Can't wait until next year.

Heaven on Earth. Everyone is so friendly, the event is very well organized, you get to see so many acts. I love discovering new acts I've never heard of in addition to seeing favorites. It can get extremely hot so bring tons of water and sunscreen. Check online for packing help and advice. Seeing Elton John under the stars brought me to tears, and it is difficult to come back to real life after spending a beautiful 4 days together with people at their friendliest and music at it's most beautiful.

Tons of great music, free stuff, water filling stations and SHADE. My biggest complaints would be the distance you have to walk to and from GA campsites and the cost of vendor food. 7 for a slice of pizza and that's one of the cheapest "meals" you can have, and while they do offer rides to and from campsites, at 15 each way there is no way in hell I'd pay for it. Invest in some decent footwear! Overall fun experience though and would recommend going at least once.

Bonnaroo. What can I say. It was a blast for sure. Very commercialized fest but production was impressive. Centeroo had a lot of food options and vendors to choose from. The lots are so huge it's hard to cover them all over the weekend. There are many lot stages for smaller acts and a lot of shakedown vendors to shop at. It's really a huge place to see. The fest grounds are pretty huge too. But it wasn't quite as big as I was expecting. People make it sound like a mad house and it's really not too much different from your other festivals. Overall I had a good time and will probably return however I would not put it on the top 3 fests. 18s lineup was great and I'm sure it will be next year too.
