On Oxford Road, convenient for students, outdoor seating area. Owners are lovely and very welcoming, pricing is fair for the area and food is of a decent standard. Well worth checking out.

I had delicious brunch at Kro Bar. Staff were lovely and helpful, explaining everything you asked about. The Bof burger is amazing, although we couldn’t figure out how to eat it rather than using the knife and fork because the whole burger was merged in the gravy sauce but it was delicious. Salmon was okay but nothing special. Chicken penne Pasta was good.
(Visited Mar 2019) My friend and I came as Sunday roasts were two for one- although we each got one for a fiver, I found it to be very underwhelming. My dinner was served lukewarm and consisted of three chewy slices of pork, peas that looked and tasted like they came from one of those big cheap cans, three bland roast potatoes and a floppy Yorkshire pudding. It was the same quality as a frozen ready meal. In fact, I think I’ve enjoyed supermarkets’ own Sunday dinners more.
Great welcome as always. Friendly staff, great service and good choice of drinks. Quiet with covid, but usual smiles.
Located strategically opposite the Students' Union and Learning Commons, one can just grab a meal here at an affordable rate. They have special offers for both food and drink on every day except Friday and the weekends. For eg. 2-4-1 Danish dishes on Mondays, 2-4-1 ribs on Wednesdays. This is why it's affordable for a student. You can have a good meal for about 4. However, I realised their food tend to be very dry.
