A very large and excellent train station, the service of the staff is very excellent, clean and there are a number of shops for shopping, bathrooms, seats for rest and all that you need
Great atmosphere with lots of food and retail outlets to pass the time in. The bar and restaurant on the mezzanine are excellent.
Excellent service during covid-19. Thank you for looking after us and making our journeys pleasant and safe. Station is very clean which puts you at ease!
If you are parking/waiting for more than ten minutes there is a charge. Not everybody was wearing masks as not mandatory at time and hand gel was available. I did not need to queue to get in. The escalator was broken and people did not seem to be social distancing as rushing to platforms, so leave plenty time to get to where you are going. It was also busy which did not help with social distancing. The express train I got was very quiet as off peak and all the seats were clearly marked available and not available to allow for social distancing. Disabled seats were available. Toilets were clean. All passengers from this station wore masks . However, people got on at other stations not wearing masks and sitting where they liked and the staff ignored it. I had to move three times. Also tickets were not checked and the people in groups did not have masks or tickets. Tickets is up to train company but they should be enforcing masks and social distancing which is mandatory. I did report the masks and seating situation to the company.
