unhelpful disinterested staff really bad frequency of trains to Leeds some staff were not wearing face coverings
like
Liverpool to Manchester Piccadilly yesterday stopped at Oxford Rd. Was just told to get off the train and get on another to Piccadilly. No information of where or when - nothing. I am a disabled traveller and getting from one platform to another involved climbing the stairs. There was no lift to assist. It was horrendous. It took me such a long time to get up the stairs with the assistance of my daughter and others. Sorry, not good enough!
Don't believe the staff!!!!!! They spread lies so that you miss your train!!!!! Just wanted to let you all know that Marc (Northern staff) at Manchester Oxford Road was shouting on platform 1 for people to use platform 2 to go to Bolton causing me to miss the 4:59pm train. I went to platform 2 with many other Boltonians and then the train to Bolton on platform 1. The train to Bolton left from platform 2 20 minutes later at 5:20pm. It was dark, cold and rainy. And Marc from Manchester Oxford Road played a good old prank on us. My question is if Marc's intention was malicious.. to cause disruption to perhaps the less fortunate or the more ethnic people of Bolton. Why Bolton?
If i could give zero stars i would. You cant exit or enter the station when busy due to the pathetic number of turnstiles. The ones you have are so slow!!!!! God help anyone on this station in an emergency as you have no chance of getting to safety!!! Sort it out
What a farce!! I appreciate that trains get delayed but when station staff tell three disabled passengers to change platforms (up and down two flights of stairs) and the train leaves from a different platform, not just once but three times, you can understand why we chose not to believe them again!! What about the Disability Rights Act!! We finally got onto a train 3 hours later!!! I would have scored this no stars but wouldn’t have been able to enter a review!
