This was my first time renting from Bhagirathi Travels. We rented out 2 Toyota Innova for our Coorg-Mysore-Ooty trip. Both the cars were well maintained, in good condition and clean. From the initial inquiry to the settlement the whole process was nice and hassle free. Namitha responded to our email inquiry promptly and Dinesh Rao was easy to deal with via the phone. We had requested non-smoking and decent ( not rash ) drivers as we were travelling with elderly and a toddler. Both the drivers Sripada and Rafique were excellent during the entire duration of our trip. They were professional have exceptional listening skills, and are safe drivers. Do ask for them if you decide to use Bhagirathi Travels. Thank you Bhagirathi Travels for the wonderful experience.

We had hired Swift Desire car in Aug. 2012 for our Coorg-Ooty trip. Got Bhagirathi Travel's ref. from google itself. Our whole Ooty leg of the trip was ruined by this driver Prasanna who was very shrewd and arrogant like his boss Mr. Dinesh Rao. In Ooty he would grumble when asked to take places for sightseeing. He said he would not go here or there especially when we had paid on itinerary basis and not on KMS basis. Worse still, when ever we reached bad patches of road in T.N, he would make us feel guilty of it as if we own T.N roads, he better ride in European or American roads instead. The car was promised of Audio-Visual CD before booking. However, what we found out the CD system did not work right from the start. Imagine with no CD music (only occasional local FM) during long journeys. When complained to Dinesh Rao over phone, he rudely told us that it was mechanical failure and that he was not responsible for it. A discount of 500 was then mutually reached for this inconvenience but he went back on his words at the last moment and also he threatened to usurp our baggage if I deducted 500. Ultimately, being with my family and in his office-city and buckling under duress, I let the discount go. Some how, all throughout the journey we felt unease with the inhospitable driver. Instead of recommending places to see, he would grumble on being asked to take to places. No power windows too. Dinesh Rao is a very greedy, arrogant man who can go back on his wordings the very last moment. Anyways, it's our misfortune that we encountered this man.
