This is the place for comfort food. I’m rating is for the food & home like experience. They offer veg & fish meals, you can add seafood preparation as a top up. Quality & food will not let you down. I’m sure to visit them again

Not so sure how they maintain hyegene in these times with such a closely packed crowd. Zero sanitization or social distancing. Not sure about the food because I didn't stay as it was too crowded inside.
BBC has rated Girimanjas to be the best Non veg Lunch only restaurant in India and not without reason. The food here is heaven particularly, the variety of fish fries, shell fish curry etc. I would rate it the best in Mangalore and crowds flock like anything. There are questions to get a seat and parking is a big issue. If you want to taste the best non veg food in Mangalore this is it. Very highly recommended.
Size doesn't matter ..... GiriManja's proves that by having the tiniest restaurant with less than 20 covers!!!! They make that up with the brilliant sea food they serve!! Make sure you order anything "tawa fry" which is their best.... Go for pomfret tawa fry and none will regret .... Anything and everything is just so good here even rice tastes special.... It's made with LOVE folks.... That's why!!
I'm just awestruck with the food and service. The food good, the service good, the ambience avg. Special mentions squid, golden fried prawn and their Shell fish curry( It was my lucky day). A must visit place for all those sea food lovers.
One of the top sea food restaurants in the town that enjoys the status of a customary visit to any avid foodie visiting Mangaluru. They run the restaurant in a building that reflects the old world charm, in a narrow lane in the core area of the city. Using fresh coconut oil to cook the freshy caught fishes ensures that the food you have here is fresh, tasty and hygienic. The only con I found was -- they should have used unpolished boiled rice. That way, they can be more authentic with their offerings.
Anjal tawa fry was awesome, no words to appreciate it️.....meals was good with nice rice, pickle, pappad, and fish curry,.....but the other curry included in the meals were not that good
Fish fry and prawns ghee roast are awesome.
