Easy 5 stars! This place is really like home. The employees are amazing. The boss is incredible. Great experience! Also loved the clients they are so loving and I’m so thankful I go to experience what I did! Truly is a big family when you work here! Sad I have to leave. But best of luck to everybody that works here and will work here. Thank you guys for being so helpful and being so caring!
I had the joy of working for At Home Care for over a year. It is such a unique and much-needed company, providing in-home care to seniors at every level, whether it be light housekeeping or total, 24-hour care. At Home Care values its clients above all else; they ask for feedback and continuously seek to grow and improve. It's a phenomenal work environment: Woody Shoemaker, the owner of this company, calls his employees and clients individually to check in and make sure that caregivers are happy at work, and that clients are happy with the care they received. Even though At Home Care serves people all over the Flint Hills area, it has a tight-knit, family like environment, which is hard to find. This is a job that I genuinely looked forward to going to. I built strong relationships with my regular clients, and got to make a positive difference in their lives. It's a truly fulfilling feeling. This company provides high-quality care and helps keep seniors independent and living in their own homes. I would recommend At Home Care to anyone, whether they are seeking employment, in need of assistance with daily activities, or trying to find care for a parent. It is a truly extraordinary company.
If there were a hundred stars, I would give them all to the folks from At Home Care. I can't say enough good things. They go out of their way to make sure their clients are comfortable. My dad was much happier because he was able to stay in his own home with the care provided by At Home. We tried 3 different nursing homes prior to finding At Home. They were awful and I could visibly see my dad's health and will to live declining every day in those facilities. When we found At Home care and signed up for their services, I could see remarkable changes in my Dad. His mental state of mind changed. I actually saw him working on his health and strength. My dad did recently pass, but I promise to anyone reading this review that his life was extending by the love and care that his caregivers from At Home provided. I highly recommend At Home Care. You won't find any one better.
At Home Care is a company that truly takes to heart the motto “there’s no place like home” meaning they take every effort to make sure each client is comfortable in their own home setting while also ensuring their individual needs are met along the way. In addition, At Home Care encourages their employees to build a positive and meaningful working relationship with their clients and this ultimately benefits and impacts both client and employee. It has been an honor and privilege to work with this company for the last 5 years.
