Doug Burns

Would not recommend to potential employees or residents. Administration does not listen to any recommendations for improvement and will do their best to impede future job searches of employees who are finally fed up with their work environment. The company would rather hear constant reports of resident abuse than seek out new employees that know how to do their job and care about the residents.

The place is garbage in my opinion . They lie and manufacture false documentation and are willing to lie to the Federal government . My wife was a resident there from Aug 30 2012 till November 2014 . Unless you are going to drop off your loved ones and let them die then this isn't the place for you . Trusting this nursing home to be honest and helpful is one of the largest mistakes I made in my life . Also be careful in my opnion there is an elder looting SCHEME going on in this nursing home . The CEO had to have employees rate this place in order to keep the ratings high . Several of the individuals are employees I knew while my wife was at Meadowlark . They where willing to lie and cover up abuse and neglect of the disabled and elderly , real trash !

I have visited so many times and never have I felt more comfortable in a long term care community. Surely I thought people would just give me the most positive they could when I was around, but the staff and residents are so real and personable. I also had a blast in the Cafe with people I didn't really know. Random residents invited me to sit with them and have lunch. Some had more recently moved here than others but it seemed that they all pretty much felt the same about Meadowlark. I saw many smiling faces and also enjoyed my visits. It was the best atmosphere I have ever experienced in a nursing facility.
