Disappointedly - but understandably both Luneta Park / Rizal Park are still closed , due to Coronavirus restrictions ... as I really wanted to have a walk around these Manila parks to explore all the monuments & other tourist attractions located within & surrounding these parks Since my first three pervious walk past visits to these mostly historical parks ( when the parks were still closed ) ... the parks this month finally opened to locals & sightseers There’s still strict coronavirus restriction protocols , when visiting the parks & the open hours have changed Also not all the sites aren’t open yet - including the museums & children attractions / parks I liked the painting on the for now closed tourist information building

During this time of Pandemic we can only visit places near us and this one is no exemption. Secured and protocols are strictly implemented.

Luneta Park for the first time I saw So clean, safe and fresh to jog or walk and has a bike lane. Well guarded and secured as they made sure that you only go through 2 entrance and exit points. Safety measures for Covid are in place that you need to register, take temp and wash with alcohol. Face mask and face shield strongly implemented. Otherwise, no entry is allowed.

A good place to walk around and bond with your family and friends. You can do picnicking under the shade of trees in the park, there's also playground for children and many amenities to enjoy. Just be cautious for the people you don't know that wants to talk to you and always keep your eyes for your children.

We could do better fellow countrymen. The national government should exert greater effort to maintain, beautify, clean up this national.and historic landmark. Im sure a lot of us visited other countries's national park and so many of them are grandeous and fascinating. We can do the same. Push a bit more Philippines! We can make it to 5 stars.
