We got our covid shield here. Police here are accommodating. they have a cool waiting area since it is by the bay, these station needs some arrangement since there are items that are scattered everywhere.

The Police force are polite plus the sea breeze is much cooler specially during sunset. Another plus factor is you get a beautiful view of a cruise ship docked at the harbor nearby.

I've been here to get my police clearance. The front desk people were fairly nice, but they weren't very proactive in assisting you with the procedure. I waited a very long time thinking they were going to tell me when they were ready, but apparently you had to go the back to have them fix your forms up. If it had just been that, I would have shrugged it off to my own naivety. Except while I was waiting, I chanced upon their interaction with a woman who had lost her passport at a Jollibee in the area. From what I understood, she came from a nearby province, and had realized she lost her passport. Someone told her to go to the police to get a document of some sort (probably to prove that it's been reported). \Saan po nawala?\ they condescendingly repeated the question as she struggled to explain that she just noticed it missing as she was on the train. They kept repeating the question and derisively telling her that she wasn't answering it, but from my perspective, she was giving the best answer that she's capable of. I mean what the hell was she supposed to say? Why can't you just tell her what you needed to know, so she can give you a rundown of her story? If these servants of the law can't give a decent explanation to a distraught citizen asking for help, then what sort of public order are they aiming to maintain?
