I have been passing through Taft Avenue most of my life and I have never seen this Oblation Statue. I have also entered UP PGH several times and it was only yesterday (September 20,2019) that I noticed this Statue. The Oblation Statue is very historical not only for UP, but to the country as well. I think UP PGH can justify this Landmark by elevating it a couple of meters or more above it's present elevation.
