Met some friends for dinner and got to enjoy the sunset on the Rhine. The setting near the river is so lovely and if the weather is good, there’s an outdoor seating area. I ordered mussels in wine sauce from the North Sea while my friends ate the blood sausage. The restaurant is very large and there’s even a big bar in the room. It’s also very cosy and has a romantic setting because of the location and views of the Rhine. The restroom could use more rigorous cleaning. Overall, a lovely restaurant for lunch or dinner while watching boats, barges go by...

Great ambience, really lovely view. The staff were attentive and the service was very quick. The food was delicious! Although somewhat different to what I'd imagined... The only down side was the seats were really uncomfortable. But I'd highly recommend the restaurant anyway!
Lovely place located right on the banks of the river Rhine, this place offers great food both in- and outdoors, much of which is prepared with ingredients from local or regional suppliers. Likewise, the selection of wines has some of the region's finest and caters to every taste. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Will come again.
The \Rheinterrassen\ restaurant is located in a park on the banks of the Rhine near the Mannheim train station. The staff is attentive and the kitchen is good. From the inside of the restaurant you have a great view of the park and the Rhine. There is a great outside terrace.
We were very surprised by this place. Location was a but odd to find as its not near any major road but it is right by the riverbank eith lofs if green areas around. In summer is just fantastic. The place itself is huge, able to accommodate 100 guests although some areas are closed at times, understandably so. A great place to organize a party. The service was capable, friendly, quick and helpful. The food was delicious with a very wide range of choices. The prices were on average or slightly above average but the quality of the food was completely worth it. Menu focuses mostly on german cuisine, so it's a great place to take visitors. All in all a great experience and definitely a place to visit if you are in the area and have the opportunity to do so; especially in the summer.
