My sons partner who is a key worker had a service on her DS3 on the 18th Jan and an mot on the 5th Feb. What I can't get my head around is that on the service the front and rear disks, a rear tyre, and wheel alignment where all marked in green which means good condition, so my argument to this dealership is how on earth after 18 days on her mot at the same garage can these components suddenly be marked in red and in need of critical repair. So along with the tyre inflation kit and auxiliary belt the total cost they quoted was 615 and they were so helpful they even added an authorisation button on the email. Anyone who did not know any better could have just pressed that button and been left well out of pocket. We complained in person at the citroen garage but were basically fobbed off, and could not believe the ignorance and lack of customer care and no explanation. We took the vehicle to an independent garage to carry out an inspection of the said (critical repairs) the outcome of that was besides the out of date tyre inflation kit the auxiliary belt did need replacing at a cost of 90. Do these dealerships honestly believe they can RIP people off in these difficult times. Be interesting to hear what the motor ombudsman has to say.
