The check-in process was quick and easy. The rooms were very clean, although a little dated. We selected a two Queen bed, but when we arrived (less than an hour later) it wasn't available and they offered two separate rooms (for significant other and two young children) we declined, but they did bring us an air mattress and sheets so it worked out. The pool was small and a little crowded. The continental breakfast was nice (bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, waffles, etc.) Overall a good stay for the price.

They do not enforce masks in public spaces. Staff generally wears but not always. Staff claims they ‘cannot’ enforce their policies (which are state law) and claim management has backed this approach. Room photo suggested a two room suite, was not as advertised. Hotel elevator had unrepaired damage. Other damage as seen in photos. Room was not clean - my six year old son literally said “other than that dog food on the floor, the dust bunnies in the corner, the dead flies on the window, and the broken bed (the batting underside) this place is pretty nice!” Felt like dad of the year with that one. Glad he didn’t look behind the dresser, which fortunately my dog did and came out covered in dust with some random food wrapper in her mouth. Hotel had paperwork in room indicating a 3 day window for maintenance. Despite booking a week ahead they needed to bring in THREE people to our room in the middle of the pandemic for what amounted to taking a picture of the back of our TV. Calling corporate led to a ‘we will take a report’ and maybe someone will contact the hotel type non response. Take your money elsewhere. I surely will next time to visit snow trails.
I can't say to much as I was only here for a day and barley was there anyway. This was a huge upgrade from the La Quinta Inn I was at earlier in the week. It wasn't a 5 start but staff was very friendly, cleanliness was a lot better again than the last one I was at and wasn't as run down either. It does not an update but this hotel isn't bad for what we paid, honestly it worth what u pay. The TV did go out constantly, like when u have a dish and it's storming out. Again I wasn't even here except for shower and sleep so hard to say much else. Hot water and decent water pressure which is always a must for me.
Let me begin by saying that my 1 star review DOES NOT represent the appearance, cleanliness nor does it represent the Staff who were wonderful I must say! HOWEVER....I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED that while I was making my reservation I was not informed that the hot tub and pool were closed! You might say that that's no big deal. But I was staying there because I was in Mansfield to go skiing at Snow Trails which is about 3 minutes from the hotel and I was really looking forward to relaxing my old bones in the hot tub. That's the only reason for my 1 star review. I should have been notified that the advertised pool and hot tub were not open.
Room smelled of cigar smoke, carpets were crusty and gross, slept in socks and clothes. Nice folks working here but the facilities were old and beat. The room we stayed in smelled like an ashtray(426) we immediately thought that it was a smoking room, but all signs indicate it was a nonsmoking room. We needed a place to stay for the night when passing though Ohio and this hotel worked for that, but I wouldn’t book it again, there are plenty of hotels up the road.
Everything about is pretty great except that the TV was so old that it wouldn't even hook up to my Xbox it took me 46 tries just to get it to work like get some better TVs man everything else is pretty great except for the pool being closed that is my summary of this message Jeffrey Bush signing off
I stayed here valentine's weekend. It was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff was wonderful and it's close to so many places to eat! Highly recommend!
Mike was so accommodating, he has outstanding customer service skills, he took is time and cared for our needs. We stayed here last year as well, everything was clean the service was great!
