Bar Matilde is a tiny coffeshop which has the best balcony of the whole Piazza delle Erbe. It looks over the entire square and offers exceptional views of Sant’Andrea. When you see it’s free, try to go up to discover how nice it is. Their coffee is very nice too, as well as their brioches or other snacks. The staff is always very kind to us, which makes us come here often.

Bar Matilde is a wonderful spot for having an afternoon drink. Right on the piazza, it's great for people-watching. Gracious host, who specialises in proseccos, is friendly and welcoming - remembers returning tourist and is not shy to clean up your broken glass or spilled chips.

Cappuccino molto buono, personale gentile e disponibile, bella vista sulla Rotonda di San Lorenzo.
Ci sono andato stamattina, caffè fantastico, brioche pure e il proprietario molto simpatico, ci tornerò sicuramente.
Ormai è diventato il nostro bar preferito. Si tratta di un piccolo barettino, provvisto però di una saletta al primo piano con uno splendido balconcino che si affaccia direttamente su Piazza erbe, dove è possibile gustare un buon aperitivo, oltretutto non costoso. Cordialissimi e sempre gentili i gestori. Proprio un bel posto
Locale accogliente, gestori simpaticissimi e gentili. La saletta al piano superiore offre una splendida vista sulla piazza consigliato dalla colazione fino a tarda sera!
