I can just agree with the comments below. We just went there last week. Arrived at 7PM and received a car that was not what we rented, much smaller, the car seats requested where not there and we were rushed into signing the contract which made it apparently mandatory to take the insurance which was not indicated in the renal price though we had proof from our credit card that we are covered - no no no is all we got as an answer, you MUST take buy the insurance! We had no choice but to sign with two small kids out no where in Mexico. However, my husband was smart enough to write on the signature line that we are only signing this as we are forced to take the insurance. Just above, we did not notice at the time was a checkbox do decline the insurance and of course they would not even show you, neither mention it AT ALL!! We asked to adjust the price to the small car we ended up getting - answer was NO, not possible?! So at the end we left that lady without paying her a penny for that darn insurance. I was a bit scared at first but at the end, they cannot force you to pay - though they have your CC info anyways. However, we fought and ended up not paying the insurance after calling our CC insurance. However, it will be a write off with the bank and those banditos take the money anyway! JUST BE AWARE and don't rent with Budget in Manzanillo!!

Do not rent from this Budget. The owner will try to charge you hundreds of extra dollars. They will argue it is insurance that is required and the policy purchased through Expedia or Travelocity does not apply. It is a scam. Take taxis through Manzanillo! They are everywhere and for a few dollars. I will work with Budget/AmEx to rectify the overages. Too bad. Manzanillo is wonderful.
Una porquería de servicio. Hice una reserva desde octubre QUE DECIA QUE NO SE TENIA QUE RECONFIRMNAR y al llegar al aeropuerto, nos indicaron que no había NI UN AUTO DISPONIBLE POR TODA UNA SEMANA. Entonces uno llega a un destino QUE ESTA EN EL MEDIO DE LA NADA Y QUEDA COMPLETAMENTE DESPROTEGIDO, pareciera intencional para generarle ganancias a la línea de taxis del aeropuerto... Increíble la atención del sujeto que se encuentra en la ventanilla, solo se limitó a decir "no hay disponiblidad". Un asco. Nunca renten en esta basura.
Muy mala atención, nos dijeron que debíamos estar a las 8:00 am y no llegó, ahí estuvimos 2 horas esperando y nada, NO ES RECOMENDABLE.
No renten autos de Budget de Manzanillo, PUNTO! Tienen los peores autos! Mal condición y no les importa la seguridad del cliente! Cuando llegue ahí a Manzanillo, me dieron un auto con 2 rayitas de gas, y con trabajos pude llegar a la estación de gas! Cuando les dije que porque mi tanque no estaba lleno me dijeron que así entregan los autos y que lo regresara de la misma manera!! A mi me dieron un auto que el volante no tenía el seguro para anivelar a la altura del chofer, el volante de movía para arriba y abajo, y la batería se murió, llame y me cambiaron el auto por otro que el limpia parabrisas estaba hecho pedazos, llame para que me lo cambiaran y me dijieron que no tenían más y no les importo mándeme a nadie para reemplazarlos! Me llovió cuando estaba ahí y casi no veía! También les dije que el sello de plástico que tiene el l carro para cerrar la puerta se le estaba cayendo y teníamos que arreglarlo a cada rato porque de caía! No renta ahí!!! Jamás lo haré yo!
Publicidad engañosa. En internet ofrecen tarifas de oferta y al llegar piden hacer cargos por garantía por has 20 mil pesos. Pésimo servicio.
