Great views in a nice day. Have to walk or ride along road. Sunset nice. Will come back for sunset dinner in a clear day.

This the last stop of the gondola ride. Exit the station, you will find snack stand, pleasant walk and short trail around farms, tea houses (the mountain still has plenty of tea farm), restaurants and cafes, often with great view of the Taipei city. Don’t miss the chinan temple - it is new but pretty. Maokong is a good choice to spend more than half day.
The gondola ride was worth it going One Direction. I don’t think I would pay to go up and down. We wound up taking the glass bottom gondola up and taking the bus to get back to the city. The bus is Can be pretty crowded if you try and leave when everything is closed around 5 PM. Most exam it’s close around four so get there early. I probably wouldn’t wait in line for the Crystal ballroom class gondola again. If you take the other kind you can go in one alone And you don’t have to wait for 20 minutes
One of the best things to do in Taipei. Pick a nice sunny day though. If you go up the cable car in the morning you can have lunch in one of the many cafes at the top and then work your way down through the zoo in the afternoon. Great day out.
'twas a nice experience to be at Maokong Station and ride on a cable car! Though the lines are long, it was worth the wait. The view is aestetic and the weather is nice.
Took the glass bottom cable car. Nice view of Taipei city. There are some tea houses and cafe at the top for us to enjoy the view. Otherwise nothing much to do.
There is a convenient store at the station. Lovely panoramic view of the mountains. When it rains, all is lost.
Very impress for the services and the fee, not expensive. The scenary is so nice and we can see Taipei 101 and around Taipei.
