Mission “It is the mission of the Maple Heights Police Department and its employees to serve the public through the fair and impartial enforcement of laws and the delivery of professional police services. It is our mission to perform these tasks in a manner that inspires the public’s trust and confidence in our department and promotes a positive feeling of safety and security to all members of our community. The standards by which we judge the achievement of our mission objectives are found in the professional standards established by our Oath of Office, the Professional Code of Police Ethics, the Maple Heights Police Department Core Values and the administrative directives of the Maple Heights Police Department.” Description The Maple Heights Police Department is currently staffed with 35 full time sworn Police Officers. The City also has an Auxiliary Police force to handle situations such as traffic control, special events, and community-oriented activities. The Department supports a dispatch center which services both the Police and Fire Departments. The dispatch center is equipped with the most up-to-date equipment available to include the enhanced 9-1-1 system, TDD machine and high band radio frequency. The Police Department, in partnership with other area communities, supports several specialized units. These units include a fully equipped SWAT Team, a Bomb Unit, a Hostage Negotiations Unit, a Narcotics Unit and an Emergency Command Post Team. The Department also sponsors a DARE Program for all 6th Grade classes at the local schools. A cash reward is offered to anonymous persons who telephone the Crime Stoppers hot line with information which led to the arrest and indictment of the person(s) responsible for felony offenses. This city and its police departmemt would rather protect the criminals within it, rather than the city itself. Maple Heights in known to be dangerous, so if you value your safety, do not drive or especially walk through here.

Went to police because my daughter who is 5 beat her and it was marks on her back, arms and legs and the answer I got was it was not enough but had I did it I would have been locked up pleading my case something needs to be done.
