I have never ordered here and we thought we should try something different. I called in the order and listed off each item one by one. After each item, I just got a "Yup, what else?" answer. Just not very pleasant. Then I gave the delivery instructions. I explained it needed to be delivered on the side door. "Yup." No problem. The man says "25 minutes". Well, 45 minutes later, still no food. I went to call and ask on the status, when I heard pounding on the front door. The front door is not my direct door and it is closed off for the winter. So it was a hassle just to get to the food. I did not leave a tip - and that's not a common thing for me. I know the delivery driver was annoyed that I didn't give a tip but that's what delivery instructions are for. To add insult to injury the only thing that was warm was the ziti. Mozzarella sticks were cold and hard. The garlic bread was soft and chewy. The cheese steak sub was warm at best, but incredibly dry. Looking back on the events of this night, I probably would have left a tip if the service over the phone was better, even if it did take longer than 25 minutes. I do believe if this food was hot and fresh, it would taste much better. Perhaps I will try this place again in the future and dine in. But there are plenty of places that give pleasant service in the area that will appreciate my business. Good service is a make or break for me, plain and simple. Another small thing I would like to comment on is the ease of ordering. Most businesses these days do have an online ordering portal, where this business is old fashion in the sense that online ordering is not available.

Absolute TERRIBLE service. Nobody greats you as you walk in .. they act like you’re bothering them when you place an order. IF .. you can place an order. Most times you find yourself standing there waiting for them to notice you. All in all a terrible experience. 10/10 would NOT recommend. Go somewhere else.

Maplewood Pizza is a family favorite! The pizza is always fresh, warm and delicious! The portions are huge compared to other pizza joints in the area. Lastly, the staff is super friendly and after a few times at the restaurant, they remember you by name and always greet you with a smile! Highly recommend Maplewood if you're looking for tasty pizza!!!

I order from here all the time, have been for years. My boyfriend continuously tells me not to because almost every time the order is wrong or they forget something and have to come back with it. Last night I ordered my usual pizza order.. Some sort of topping with VERY light sauce.. I love their pizza, but we all have stomach issues so we can't eat a lot of sauce on our pizza.. Both pizzas I ordered had their normal amount of sauce on them.. I decided not to even call this time because it seems absolutely pointless at this point.. Their food is very good, they have very good portions when you order their dinners, but their attention to order detail and service is SEVERELY lacking.. Step it up guys.. We order from you 2 or more times a week... You just lost a very good customer. We will be ordering from somewhere else from now on.

So happy they have online ordering now, been in the area for years and when I could actually call anyone, it was this. Online ordering with Maplewood is a miracle. These guys are amazing, when I did call they were on it first ring, even when I said menu items wrong they instantly knew what it was. No over the top fake-courtsey. These guys are here to feed you and make you smile, they really bring it home!@
