Amazing beautiful resort. Everything was very sanitary and well taken care of to make sure all areas were cleaned to keep COVID away. The staff was excellent. The main restaurant was good but pricey. We loved the fire pits but the definitely need more. The grounds are breathtaking and extremely safe. We had a gorgeous room with a view that couldn’t be beat. Once you drive through the gate the resort feels like you are on a Caribbean island. The dock built to view sunsets was spectacular. We highly recommend the resort.

Hands down the most beautiful, relaxing resort to date. I took a solo trip to the Florida Keys and stayed at Isla Bella Resort on the Key of Marathon, just one hour by convertible to Key West. This was before the pandemic and I loved it. From impeccable dining to breathtaking views and luxurious rooms with spacious balconies, the winding greenery drive up to the lobby resort and gorgeous weather instantly provided relief. Greeted with beverages upon check in with lightly fragrant air conditioning in the lobby building, entirely separate from the dining area and bar and pool and spa, I absolutely loved this solo trip to get away from it all. And might I add the thoughtful multiple pools and enormous decadent bathrooms with Molton Brown branded amenities. Can’t wait to return!

We stayed for one entire week. There are a few things that made this a 3-star stay, instead of the 5 that we were expecting: 1. Thermostat in the room is programmed to not go lower than 68 and there are no ceiling fans. I woke up hot many nights. This is not something you expect at a hotel you are paying so much for. 2. There is a 20 per day charge for parking. This should be included. 3. Balconies offer no privacy. 4. Minor--- no microwaves in rooms and no communal microwave available. The good: 99% of the staff we dealt with were super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The property and landscaping are absolutely beautiful. There is nothing that feels lacking aesthetically. Absolutely loved all the lush palm trees, lighting, seating, etc. The property is super clean and we were very happy with there being luggage carts available. The elevators to the upper floors were very quick and efficient and we loved that there are wrist bands to get into the rooms instead of keys. Personally, I wouldn't stay at this property again unless the thermostat issue is changed, but overall we had a nice stay. We would definitely come back in the future if the issue is resolved and the thermostat could be programmed to the guest's preference.

We had a great stay here on Superbowl Sunday 2021. This spot is great for winter sunrise and sunset. The rooms were nice and the staff was attentive. The 20 daily fee to park was a surprise and seems tacky if you are a guest. The resort pool seemed good for kids tho we avoided it due to the pandemic. There are plenty of activities close by, a good shop with a full coffee bar and the Sunset Grill is within walking distance. These photos are from our balcony on the first floor.

The resort is beautiful. The design choices compliment the surroundings well. For the price, I would have expected the quality of the workmanship within the room to be better. (We had a cracked mirror in the bathroom) I feel that they have also skimped a little on extras like more landscaping around the buildings. Constructive criticism: the restaurant is only open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. So the only other option is the beach bar with a smaller menu. The overall quality of the food is mediocre for the cost- but this was to be expected. For such a beautiful view, the restaurant should be open for sunset. Sunsets were at 5:45pm and you can go to the restaurant until 6pm. This didn’t make sense. Also, because people are traveling from all over, there should be a 24 hour food option like room service. It is only open until 9pm. Morning yoga was great. Would be great if it were offered everyday.

I will start with the positives. The property and landscaping are gorgeous and very clean. The front gate at the entrance is beautiful. The location on the water can’t be beat. The decor is VERY pretty, but the quality of construction underneath is weak. The food was decent, but nothing special. It appears that there is only one kitchen for all of the dining facilities (other than The Marketplace). The hours that these places are available do not cater to the guests well. There is very little food for small children despite the fact that there are a ton of families. The biggest negative about the resort in general is poor service. I think every meal and activity has 20% gratuity built in. It seems there is no incentive to offer quality service. Nobody is rude or mean, there is just zero effort to be available or go above and beyond. For the prices being charged, I really expected more. As I sit at the pool now, there is one person in sight and he is doing nothing. Nobody serves drinks or offers to get you an umbrella. We also arrived to a heavily scented room and after an hour it wore off to find that someone had clearly smoked in this room a lot. After approaching the front desk, we were able to get a credit, but the hotel was full and we stayed for 5 nights in the gross smell. The room shouldn’t even be in use in that condition. My last suggestion/complaint is that the balconies have zero privacy. We would have lived on ours, but felt very exploded. If Isla Bella wants to continue to market themselves as a luxury hotel, the service aspect needs to improve significantly. Pretty pictures on Instagram does not equal a high end resort.

Brand new and very nice. Great value in my opinion and was super peaceful. Saw some families and kids but not too much . The service is great but a little short staffed but understand with CV19 and they are only at 25% capacity. Don't over think it, stay here.

Nice place, good experience. A couple of oddities, or complaints perhaps. The food menu was very limited. It was all very good, but the variety was lacking. From my travel companions, I had heard that there was a larger variety, including brick oven pizzas, last year. None of that was available now, in March 2021. Perhaps related to COVID, perhaps not. The resort did a good job with COVID precautions, maybe a little too extreme in terms of housekeeping. The only time we were offered housekeeping services was at 7pm the night before we checked out from our 4 night stay. We had to call to request towels, and for any garbage to be picked up as well. Overall, the facility and its amenities was very nice, and they did a good job of creating a feel of isolation from the main road. We’re already talking about returning next year.
