Biarong is a local name of a Philippine-endemic tree. I attended a wedding reception in this place. Biarong is located in Crossing Diaz, Koronadal City. It is near the new City Terminal complex. The easiest way to this place is from the National Highway where you will find their billboard. A few meters away from the main highway, you shall find the retaurant and function hall. There's space for parking although it could be insufficient if there's a big reception with more than a hundred guests. It has a garden ambiance, and the function hall has a rustic vibe. It could get a bit cramped if you have more than a hundred guests though. Service is good, waiters were attentive and food is ok. Aside from their function hall, they also have a restaurant serving their signature dishes. The restaurant also serves as an art gallery for local artists.

I love the rustic touch of this place, adorned with dim lights and native wood decors that give visitors an atmosphere of local life and flavors. Their wedding and other party packages are the lowest in town and they can customize the services upon client's request. Most of their meals are amazingly good. Must-try are Chicken Buntis, Chicharong Tilapia, Chicken Tinola sa Ubad and Native Chicken Adobo. Their Durian and Buko pies are also great! So when you are in Koronadal, stop by Biarong Resto for a quality taste of the South. Indeed a place of good taste :-)
The ambience is like an old ancestral house. If you are missing those moments in the past, you can take a trip down memory lane at Biarong Resto.
Service is poor, this was during the day. Maybe nightime its better. Food was ok
Could give better rate if the place is properly maintained and cleaned up.
