Bodegas Tierra Hermosa is a family-run wine producer based in Andalucía, founded in 2009 by husband and wife team Harry & Katie Hunt. We are the first negociant-style producer of its kind in Andalucía, collaborating with local grape growers and provincial oenologists to create a whole range of wines from right across the territory, all under the Tierra Hermosa brand. Our goal is to create wines which deliver a modern interpretation of traditional Andalucían wine styles. We want to harness the time-honoured winemaking customs from each of the provinces within Andalucía, and add our own contemporary Tierra Hermosa twist, to create an exciting, internationally accessible range of wines. The first two award-winning wines in our range are both from D.O.P Granada - a unique area which boasts the highest vineyards in Europe. 'Neblerío' is our 100% Tempranillo and 'Veinte Grados' is our blend of Temp, Syrah and Garnacha. In 2014 we will release the first white wine in the Tierra Hermosa range, from Almeria, the eastern most province of Andalucía.
