As a Elviria local for over 8 years we tried El Laurel for the first time. Location good, food was average but still ok but vs quality too expensive. 4 small beers 10 Eur. Service for the price below average and waiters not really welcoming. Two waiters were serving with us only two tables. After two more tables were occupied, they forgot or ignored to ask if we would like to have desert or coffee. Even with Covid times they could have tried to be friendlier to give a better attention and make more . We had our desert and more drinks somewhere else. Btw, better service higher tip. We will not return as there are way better and friendlier chiringuitos and restaurants between Marbesa and El Rosario.

Perfectly located by the beach, El Laurel restaurant was a fantastic spot for our lunch. The restaurant menu is broad and covers both sea and land to offer tapas, raciones (delicious), paellas (loved it), to beautiful selection of fishes - cooked the way you like - my favourite from charcoal grill. Great and efficient service made my visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend it.
Not a posh place, rather casual and typical Spanish. Right on the sandy beach with great views. Nice seafood paella and the food was good in general. There is a car parking next to the restaurant. The staff is not too welcoming but quite ok.
Nice and quiet place! But expensive for average quality, and waiter not really kind.
I have been here many times but things have clearly gone downhill, the easy access to tourists has apparently made service sloppy and sometimes nonchalant, and prices definitely expensive for the quality of food that is served. When we arrived, plates, glasses and drinks were randomly dropped on our table by a bored waiter (see photo). Bread (served to other guests) was brought after we asked for it at the end of the meal. The food was not bad, but not worth the price. No investment has seemingly been made in the upkeep of the place which has a generally worn look. If this place did not have the location it has, it would have to close in three months.
Beautiful setting and great food. Service is great too. A very pleasant surprise
Delicious. Beautiful view great service
STAY AWAY!!!!! This resturant have a nice locatio but the food was terribel - the worst we have experienced at Marbella, we had two tables and both received terribel service but the worst was the food, no taste, just nothing.
