They have good technology, unfortunately their customer service is still following an eastern European style... meaning, non-existent... a shame..

The only problem we have had is that we have been charged 18.15 for an ‘administrative’ fee stating that our bank had refused payment. Saw bank manager who stated that nothing had been received from Olivenet regarding payment. Went to the office and, due to THEIR error, the office staff had put the wrong bank account details down, so when payment was required, naturally it came back as not paid. We have had to pay the 18.15 for THEIR fault, not ours. Not very happy actually. Spent a good 30 minutes and a 80km round trip, in the office trying to right the wrong. Got the correct bank account details taken, hopefully, but not very happy having to pay for a mistake that their staff made and not us. I suppose I should have checked the contract, particularly the bank account details more carefully, so I suppose I can take some of the blame!! Apart from that, the service itself is very good. Olivenet fitted us with fibre optics where no other company would touch us, due to area etc. Came within the time stated, and fitted by very nice guys. Very happy apart from this administrative problem. Perhaps a phone call may help in future? It is not nice to receive an e mail threatening to cut us off unless we pay the bill in full plus the administrative fee, when NOT our fault. If not for this problem regarding the bank account I would have given 5 stars.

On the website, they show that there is free installation, but when the customer service noticed that I am a student, they charged me 60 euros for the installation. That’s a joke. Why you’re putting extra fees on the student? Students require more time or more effort than the other normal people??? I don’t why they are so racist to the students . What’s wrong with the students ? I have apartment with a contract for more than 2 years so why they are charging 60 euros for students. Please stop being racist and I will take legal action because that’s not acceptable to be racist to the students.

I have seen many comments on google reviews with people saying they are not getting the correct speeds, I had Olive Net installed 1 month ago and the service has been excellent, I think a lot of people may not understand wifi 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz, I have 2 computers with wifi 2.4 ghz and get around 40 Meg, my mobile phone is 5g and my sons playstation and we both get 100 meg, if your device does not have 5 ghz you will never get the speed you believe you have, we have 100 Meg which I always get with my phone and ps4 if your wifi is only 2.4 ghz it the device that cannot take the speed not the internet providers supply, my IPTV is directly plugged into the router and full 100 megs and HD. So very very pleased with their service. 19.99 a month excellent for the service.
