Parking regulations in Spain In some Spanish towns, parking is permitted on one side of the street for the first half of the month (blue and red parking restriction sign marked ‘1-15') and on the other side for the second half of the month (sign marked ‘16-31'). Parking should be in the same direction as the traffic flow in one-way streets or on the right-hand side of roads with two-way traffic. No-parking regulations in Spain - in streets with yellow cubs and where 'NO Parking' sign is displayed. - within 7 metres of a bus or tram stop. - in areas for residents (black bands on telephone and street lighting posts). Paid parking in Spain Parking spaces marked with blue lines means chargeable parking. So you have to buy your parking ticket from a nearby machine on the pavement usually topped with a blue and white “P” sign, or from an attendant. Paid parking in Spain is set from Monday to Friday 09:00-14:00 and 16:00-21:00 and Saturdays 09:00-14:00 for a limited number of hours (1-4 hrs).
