Nice complex, well maintained, although a bit dated. Beautiful views from the terraces, overlooking the well kept gardens and pools. Oddly all areas must be accessed through a dark parking garage. You also better be fit, because there are literally tons of stairs that cannot be avoided. Even the lifts are located between stair cases, so they only help a bit. If you have to lug kids, baggage or groceries, you will get a work out. Do not book here if you have any mobility impairments or health conditions that make it difficult for you to climb stairs. We are in our late 60's and quite fit, but averaging 15 flights of stairs daily (having to take our little dog for 3 walks a day) has taken its toll. The complex is advertised as pet friendly and there are dogs here, but all grounds have big warning signs prohibiting dogs. So going down and out to the street with your pet is pretty much your only option (40 stairs in our case). The neighbourhood has great restaurants right outside and grocery stores are within fairly easy walking distance, but going to the Marina or the beach is about 2.5 km away with uphill stretches both ways, and is best done by taxi or a car. Local bus service is infrequent, so taxis are a preferred option, for 5-7 euros to get you to the centre. Overall, we prefer Marbella or Benalmadena for a more interesting, diversified and accessible experience.

Cannot thank Vacation Care enough, they really helped us out of a jam during these difficult times. Nothing was too much trouble. Easy, hassle free booking, absolutely everything was taken care of. We ended up staying for a month and would definitely come again. Highly recommend Apartment no.4 as it has been recently renovated to a very high standard and it's literally 10 steps to the bars and restaurants. Convenience is key. Great swimming pools and a convenient parking. 2 minutes walk to the local supermarket and an abundance of things to do, this really does tick all the boxes. We dealt with Chris Greengrass as our point of contact. 5 star service. Thanks! Look forward to our next Aloha Gardens holiday.
At first everything looked good and we booked the hotel for 10 nights without cleaning. After that, we went to the reception the day before for the check-out, and although it was written on the door and in the hotel email, working hours until 6 pm, at 4 pm no one was there to answer and the reception was closed. I called and was told not to worry, you can check out t omorrow at 10 am. The next day we decided to stay a few more nights, so I went to the reception at 10:30 am and asked for a few more nights, but they offered me Doble price per night so we could not reach an agreement.we checked out and then I found out that they charged us 80 euros for the checkout a little later. When I went to the reception to talk to the manager the bad-tempered lady there ,rudely told me that manager is not here and I don’t know when he comeback,do not disturb me .....! I traveled a lot and stayed in differents hotels but until that day I had not seen such rude and irresponsible behavior anywhere. The manager did not answer my phone and hid himself, and the rude nervous lady of the reception disrespected us. I advise you to forget about this hotel and if you decide to do so, be careful with your money because no one is responsible and Responsive. They charged us more than one night for just one hour and if they were at their work we could check out a day before . Marbella has better hotels that know how to behave and respect their guests.
Although Location is very good and well kept gardens and pool, the cleanliness of the place and help of staff is mediocre
Perfect place for relax - if there is no an English family by your apartment....:-)
