Marc is really great at making you feel comfortable. I’ve been to a lot of headshot studios and I’ve never had an experience like I did with Marc. If you look at Marc's portfolio, his work speaks for itself. He has a way of drawing out characters from his subjects rather than simply making them look good or glamorous (which is not the purpose of an actor's headshot). But this does not just happen. I've worked with several photographers in my many years in this business and he's the first one that actually gives you homework to do in preparation for the shoot. It's easy to think that all you have to do is bring some wardrobe options and then sit still while the photographer does all the work. Marc really makes you think about what types of roles you'd want to go out for as well as how you would describe those characters. When you combine your preparation with his easy-going demeanor and direction, the results will be positive. I highly recommend him.

I've had Marc take several of my headshots and don't have enough vocabulary to sing his praises, but I'll try. He has the process down to a science, and always takes the time to make me feel comfortable and connected. He knows how to market versatility, set the mood, and pull winner shots even when I can't stand to look at myself (we all have those inexplicable days). Marc knows how to roll with the punches in the most professional ways. I have sent friends and colleagues his way for years for a reason. I had several headshots taken by Marc for my kids. He was so patient and sweet with them, directed them really well and the photos turned out so beautifully. I especially love the way he made sure they still looked like kids and not all made up. It was really difficult to make a selection on which one to use.
