Good option if you come to Mariazell for hiking or other activities. Nothing special but the rooms are clean and have a decent size.. Service is mostly very friendly. Very good location too, but Mariazell isn't very big anyway. Breakfast buffet was ok, didn't try dinner.

The Gasthof level is adequate to the price. We were very pleased. The room was clean with view on main square and mountains. We could park our motorcycles with no fear on the back of the Gasthof. Breakfast was great.
Very poor quality of food. Do not go there.
Do yourself a favor and eat at some other place. The food had a terrible taste and was overpriced. The Schnitzel seemed to have been made in the morning and then wormed up on the microwave just before served. The Schweinemedallion had borderline spoiled vegetables, meat with no taste just fat and salt. When presented with a polite feedback the staff became streamelly unfriendly. I mean look at their ratings, it tells a lot.
Pricey, low quality and in addition the Venison stew was really a beef stew. Selling deer and serving beef.
Good food, nice and friendly staff.

Habe zwischen 2 und 3 Sternen geschwankt. Die Lage ist wirklich 1A, aber ansonsten hat unsere Übernachtung nicht wirklich unsere Erwartungen hinsichtlich Preis und der Fotos auf booking.com erfüllt. Eine alte rustikale Einrichtung kann grundsätzlich ihren Charme haben, aber die Matratzen sollte man jedenfalls mal tauschen. Das Frühstück war grundsätzlich okay, der Kaffee leider kalt.
