Scott came highly recommended to me by my son’s therapist, as well as from a close friend. I first reached out to him for couple’s therapy. No doubt he is top-notch in counseling within that arena of life. However I additionally decided to see him for individual therapy, as well. I feel very confident in the knowledge I gain from the sessions we have. So much so, I have referred several friends to him & they have all thoroughly loved him. Sometimes when you are in a difficult situation it is hard to know exactly who to talk to about it. Scott is most definitely a great source of guidance in those really hard situations & even in all the smaller bumps of life that sometimes create hurdles, too! If you need a good therapist, you’re in for a treat! Because Scott is awesome!!!

I came to Scott on the recommendation of another counselor. At the time, I was also looking for a Gottman certified marriage therapist that could help me “fix” my marriage when my partner had given up. I left my previous counselor because she was very passive and didn’t ask much of me. At the time, my anxiety was at its highest and I had lost hope. I was almost at rock bottom. After my first session with Scott, I knew he could help. Scott is not only a great listener, but he is also very supportive. He nudges me out of my comfort zone by asking me very thought-provoking questions. I told him I didn’t want any sugar-coating if I’m going to better myself, and he agreed. What Scott has helped me to understand is my feelings are valid, and I am worthy of better (among other things). If you are looking for an amazing and effective counselor, Scott is your guy.
