Good for kids
Beautiful place and free, no fee for entrance needed. Quite crowded in July, many families. Not the best place to be relaxed. The beach is very clean in comparison with the ones in the City centre. The access is not possible in public transport but taxis work pretty well.

Great place to spend whole day at the sea shore. A beach is quite messy, nevertheless the water quality and the view are so amazing that you can even don't pay attention to some garbage around. Really overcrowded on weekends.
We were there for a snorkeling session. It costs 20 per person and they provide the necessary clothing and accessories if you don't have them with you. Before the immersion they show an introductory presentation also in English if needed. The instructors are really competent and you constantly have the feeling that the entire structure is leaded by professionals. The immersion lasts around 2 hours and the protected marine area is simply breath taking. There are Roman ruiins underwater and the instructor drives you and explain Evey single peace of history in the surroundings during all the tour.
What an absolute gem! Loved every second here, such beautiful water and surroundings. Good to know: opening hours 10-4 and there is a maximum capacity of 100 people at a time so may be a bit of a wait to get in. We went at 1.30 pm and waited for around 40 minutes. You must also bring a passport or ID card which you get back when you leave. You can swim in ‘zone B’ of the reserve without queuing if not too bothered about seeing Gaiola island, though it is very busy and water not as pristine. There is a little kiosk selling drinks and snacks.
You’re not welcome !! We tried to contact them, to call them, to buy tickets but we didn’t managed. on the place, the road is forbidden, you pay parking, (many cars ??!!) and you find a closed place. I Like these rules !! Is it private !???
We did a kayak tour with KayakNapoli, which was the highlight of our trip Gentle kayaking, suitable for pretty much everyone, along the coast from Posillipo, with a bit of swimming to see underwater Roman columns, and rising bubbles from an underwater volcanic crater. Excellent guided tour & beautiful scenery
Don’t go in the weekend. You won’t find a place to sit. It is overcrowded and they only allow a group of people at a time. Also, make sure to wear comfortable shoes, because there is a long walk.
Beautiful place to visit, but tour with glass floor boat is starting from may.
